Cheers To The New Years!

It's officially official! I havew completed and passed Basic Film and Digital. I have decided that my next course will be Studio Portrait Lighting as my next step, as I enjoy doing the portrait side of things. Not nearly as much as I enjoy taking pictures of people outdoors. I have also been asked to take pictures in a wedding this February. I am very excited. I have had a few requests for my talents and I am looking forward to 2009. As I look ahead, I see bigger and better things. As 2008 comes to a close, I want to thank everyone for your support and the opportunity to do what I love to do. Don't ever hesitate to give me a call or drop me a line if you want some pictures done. I want loads of practice and experience so that I can get that much closer to official starting my career! So to all of you, I wish you the very best that 2009 has to offer!

Cheers!!

Happy Holidays!

Well, there's no denying that Christmas is just around the corner. The family and I went out to get out Christmas tree and wood for our fire, which ultmately led to some great shots out in the forestry. I had a great time and came out with some great pictures too. Next Tuesday will be my last class for Basic film and digital photography at SAIT. I am a little nervous since it's been years that I've had to take a test! I also have an assignment due on that day. I will keep you posted as to what pictures I choose. In the meantime. here's some pictures from our adventure in the snow!

Photography Class - Night Photography Shots

Last week in class, we played around with night photography. Here are a couple of my shots and in the picture, you'll notice that all three traffic lights are lit up. Even though it was quite chilly, it was very cool to try out.

Photo Shoot 11/03/08

Welcome

This past year I have finally found the one thing I want to pursue as a career. Photography. It's one thing that I have always loved, but never really thought as
a career choice. I bought myself a digital SLR and began to play around. This summer I enrolled in a photography class which I am currently taking at SAIT. I have two more classes to go and the first of eight courses will be finished towards my photography certificate. I am always looking for photo ops and if anyone is interested, I would love to take pictures for you. I charge very minimal as I am still learning.
I will display pictures on here as go along. I hope you enjoy the pictures and hope to hear your feedback and comments.
